Tina Fey is brilliant...And she definitely portrays Palin as Marna sees her! (See her "Twit" post from September.)
And I am a bit surprised Gwen Ifill's book (centered on, but not directly about Obama) didn't disqualify her as a moderator. Not saying there is anything wrong with her doing the book, I just felt there are 300,000,000 people in this country who AREN'T writing a book about Obama. Wouldn't it have made more sense to use one of those people with a less obvious potential bias?

The SNL's with Tina Fey as Palin have been hilarious! Rumor is Palin will actually be on SNL a week from Saturday, not sure if this is true or not.
And yes, you would think it makes sense to have someone moderating a Presidential debate who DIDN'T write a book on one of the candidates. But hey, worse stuff has happened, right? Last time i checked, we have incarcerated over 20 million individuals due to drug-related crimes, entered into a war based on the 'fact' that 'they may attack us someday' o and of course the tragedy 'rescue package' that was shoved through congress.
